clydeiii: @Trentx As far as I know, as long as you get an unlocked GSM mobile phone here in the US and then a prepaid Vodaphone SIM card, you're good.

jethrocarr: yay, ordered a prepaid data SIM card from dodo.com.au so I don't have to pay roaming charges - $40 AUD == 3GB. If roaming, $40 NZD == 4MB!!!
